Free Upgrade to WatchFTP version 4?
If you bought WatchFTP on or after May 1, 2016 your upgrade to version 4 is free!
We already created a new license name & key for you, Look it up here.
Furthermore, all future version 4 releases (v4.1, v4.2, ...) are free and fully supported for you as well.
Paid Upgrade to WatchFTP version 4
If you bought WatchFTP before May 1, 2016 you need to buy an upgrade for each computer you run WatchFTP on. However, if you run WatchFTP on more than 10 computers, you only need to buy 10 upgrades. After you upgrade all further v4 releases (v4.1, v4.2, ...) are free and fully supported.
Do I have to Upgrade?
No, your current WatchFTP will continue to work and we will support it for some time. Please note:
- All fixes (including security fixes) and new features will only be implemented in the latest version 4 build. The version 3 branch of WatchFTP will not be maintained anymore.
- Support for version 3 will stop January 1, 2018.
